... a 6' halfpipe myself, and would love some comments on the plans.

Was going for 6' high, 16' wide, 12' flat and like a 7 1/2 - 8' tranny..

Sound ok to you guys?

And if so - anyone got some decent ramp plans for a ramp of approx this size? Atm I'm just going with a modified version of ...

yeah try great stuff... the foam insulator in a spray can... just plug both ends...

this is just a suggestion b/c I am using pvc

Sound Deadening a half pipe

We just built a 4 X 8 X 22 half pipe in our backyard. Our old neighbor is already irritated by the sound.

The two ends are open - I read somewhere that closing them will help.

Is there any material we can put in the ends to at least help with the sound? Remember it's outside ...

thechris - the mini halfpipe in a sun room and a grind box out of a bed frame sound sweet, I hope to see some pictures when those are done.
