Hi I soon am makin a half pipe and I ride bmx what transition should use and also how do you measure the transition cheers

Tranistions refers to any flat part between the curves.
On a quarter pipe it's where the ramp meets the concrete.
On a half pipe it's the whole length of flat before you transition into the curve.

I'm building a 6 foot tall half pipe with a 12 foot flat bottom what would be a good transition to use if I wanted to air out is it possible or no? thanks

i thaught a half pipe was a sem-circle sort of shape(cut a pipe in half lol) and mini ramps had flat floor parts...i dunno...

... 4' sheet of 3/4" plywood
6 4' x 4' sheet of 3/8" plywood
6 4' x 4' sheet of 1/4" Masonite
2 4 feet long 1.5" diameter metal pipe

you can probably get Masonite at any hardware store that sells plywood/2x4s or any lumber yard

This is what your ramp will look like when completed
