Coping

Lowe's only had 1 1/4" coping. Will that be too small in diameter? Can I just make it stick out more?

My idea is to build a Quarter Pipe on one end and a wall ride (straight up the wall, no coping) on the other to make up for the lack of length in the space.

Building a custom mini. Any knowledageable builders out ther

... is 9'W 15.5'L and has an open ceiling that's 8'H.

My idea is to build a Quarter Pipe on one end and a wall ride (straight up the wall, no coping) on the other to make up for the lack of length in the space.

I want the QP to be at least 2' high and have around 2' of deck and somewhere ...

... ideal length for the flatbottom, there is platforms,1mtr in length, the transition is 2160mm in length if you draw a verticle line down from the coping and measure along the bottom. so the ideal length for the flat is???? i know it can be any length but i need answers, i am thinking 3.2 mtrs, ...

... like on this site but im wanting to take one side of the ramp and put a 4ftx8ft wall ride on top is there any way to do this with keeping the coping on it so i can still have the option to hit the coping and still be able to hit the wall ride without dying on the coping on the way back down....would ...

... will be much more solid. Probably not a big deal in this case since you used 2x6's instead of 2x4's and its less than 3' tall.

Attaching the coping use L bolts and there's no need to drill a hole in the top of the coping only underneath, these are the L shaped bolts that are set in concrete ...

... get a rag and wipe off the dust i do street skating and this is a comman stradagy this is also usefull for concrete skateparks that cant afford coping you might have to do this evrey week or so and if u have nice smooth trucks this you shouldent have to do this.i hope this helps those street ...

uhmm,, I'm not too sure but if the top is on enough of an angle then you can put it on as like, a square shape but it would be better to put coping but once again im not too sure so u might want to ask someone else :S

Okay instead of using coping, could you use sheet metal on the edge of the mini ramp
or is that a big no. :shock:
