Garage Mini Ramp Plans

... to build a mini ramp 2.5ft high, 15ft long, and 6ft wide. The garage is very tall about 10-11ft.

My concerns are the width of the ramp and if the length would work. I don't think I have ridden anything 6ft wide, but I do like to do short grinds and am wondering if this is possible. I can only ...

Two 1/4 pipes or 1/2 pipe ????

... quickly as well as being a trap for humidity underneath. I'm also thinking I can slide the 1/4 sections forward and back to find the perfect length of flats as opposed to having to 100% commit to the flat section dimensions in the build process of a 1/2 pipe. There is also a cost component ...

Re: Building a custom mini. Any knowledageable builders out ther

My idea is to build a Quarter Pipe on one end and a wall ride (straight up the wall, no coping) on the other to make up for the lack of length in the space.

Building a custom mini. Any knowledageable builders out ther

... 8'H.

My idea is to build a Quarter Pipe on one end and a wall ride (straight up the wall, no coping) on the other to make up for the lack of length in the space.

I want the QP to be at least 2' high and have around 2' of deck and somewhere around a 6' radius.

I want the wall ride to be ...

Platform Length for Indoor Ramps

I am trying to build a 2'-2'6" mini ramp in my basement for my kids. I have 21'3" of length to work with ... wall to wall. I would like to keep the flat bottom length as long as possible and am trying to figure out if I can get away with 12"-18" platforms. ...

Re: What is the ideal amount of flat bottom for a half pipe?

... before hitting the next. You felt out of control. I spoke with a friend that has a 7' tall 1/2 pipe and his has a 12' flat section. He said a good length is about 10'. We then tore ours down and added 2' to the flat section. Been skating it since and it seems like a good amount for the flat section. ...

Re: 4' mini ramp

... its worth I'd go with 12 feet.

My mini halfpipe plans use an 8 foot flat bottom because thats how Id seen it done before and it is a convenient length as far as building time and price. But I agree it can feel a bit short, especially for a 4' tall halfpipe.

If you build a 4 foot extension ...

4' mini ramp

Hello, I'm building a 4' tall 1/2 pipe and I am trying to find out a good length of the bottom flat section? We made it 8' but it seems a little too short. We are going to take it apart and lengthen it up, I'm just wondering if we should extend it 2' or 4', which ...

Re: Building 3' indoor

Hey tjcezar, sorry for the late reply! I'm not sure you have the length for a halfpipe 3' tall with 3' platforms on both sides, check out the ramp calculator at http://www.xtremeskater.com/ramp-plans/ramp-tool/, if you use the defaults ( 6' 10" transition ...

Building 3' indoor

I am building a 3' x 12' halfpipe for my sons (2 & 4yr old) in our barn. Wall to wall I have 23' 8" for length. I am looking for the most practical transition dimension for them. I am going to need approx. 3' platforms so what would you suggest for transition and flat bottom measurements?
