for those who cant afford skatelite skatepaint works on all wood including masonite

... my ramp is 12' by 30' and i just tarp it when im not working on it and when im done ill be able to get away with just tar paper and a layer of masonite. just try that

I used Tar paper for on top of the plywood surface, then used masonite or something simmaler. Ten i used water sealer (that was made for a deck) on all the 2by4s, sides, and plat forms. i think the masonite should last about a year so just replace it when you need to.

masonite is only like $11 a sheet and it will make your ramp very smooth

... thanks im going to buy the wood and mats today. Ill look for that and see what kind of money I have. The ramp me and my friend built we put the masonite with the rough side up. You really look alot of speed. But its great traction. Ill see what works best though.

Any thought on how I can move ...

On the whole masonite deal, I also have seen it both ways, but the proper way is shiny side up. One thing I have noticed is that the masonite from Home Depot is super slick. and the wheels today ranging from 95 to 101a is ...

... to skate. I built two quarter pipes using these plans already. Im about to work on my third tommorrow. I have a slight question though when using masonite do you put the shiny slick side up or the rough side? Ive seen it both ways. Its weird. thanks.
