the defn of ramp height that I use (a.k.a. height of ramp): The height you feel when skating. The vertical distance your wheels travel from standing on the platform to standing on the flatbottom.
The height of the ramp is 3' 5", so for the total height of the ramp add 3.5" for the height of the flatbottom and .75" for the plywood on the platforms, which gives 3' 8.75" total height.
If you want to get really exact the surface reduces the ramp height a little, and the coping sticks up increasing the total height a little (possibly the ramp height as well).
