whats the consensus about spar urethane on masonite? . . .

I am just surfacing my ramp now and this is what i planned on doing . . . but will it really hold up in Canada? . . . rainy and snowy weather. . .

ps tarps do nothing . . . rain always gets through . . as as i learned already masonite when wet is absolutely garbage . . . even a little bit will destroy the entire thing . . .

so again . . can spar urethane actually create enough of a solid barrier . . and would it need monthly touch ups due to wear???

much obliged everyone . . .

i did the spar urethane im in florida and its held up through some heavy rain just coat the backs and sides really good before you put it on then i recomend putting a ton of screws in then do atleast 2 coats im not sure what snow will do to it though
