thanks man
i have understand that they are several kinds of massonite
one that woodworkers uses for back of cupboard etc that is made of wooden chips and blasting them into long fibers with steam and then forming them into boards.

and one more that i think [according to someone] that is made of cardboard or something like that

which massonite should i choose??
[i am filling like a fool but i have to know]

I agree with bmxrox, two layers of plywood, then a layer of masonite is definitely the best way to go, and if you have the funds then you should go that route. thats what i did and it works great
